CEO
Graduated in Economics with a specialty in Econometric Models (Higher School of Economics of the National Polytechnic Institute), Master in Economics with a specialty in Economic Development at the University of the Americas-Puebla and has a Ph.D. in Economics at the National Polytechnic Institute and in Regional Development by the Colegio de Tlaxcala, AC, as well as a Diploma in Public Policy Evaluation by CIDE and one in Legislative Planning and Operation by ITAM.
In the academic field, he is currently Professor and Researcher at the Higher School of Economics of the National Polytechnic Institute and at the College of Tlaxcala, A. C .; he has been a Professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana-Puebla and at the Higher School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (ESIME-IPN).
In the field of public administration, he has served as General Director of the Social Development Evaluation Council of Mexico City (Evalúa CDMX), Executive Coordinator of the Stimulus Program for the Universal Baccalaureate (PREBU, Prepa Sí), Director of Planning of the System for Inter-Family Development (DIF-CDMX), Director of Evaluation of the Guaranteed Education Trust (FIDEGAR), among others. His research areas are: Social Policy, Monitoring and Evaluation of Social Development, Economic Growth, Impact of Public Policies, Applied Econometrics (Financial Econometrics and microeconomics), Inequality and Poverty and Financial Mathematics.
He has written several books such as: Measurement and Analysis of Poverty in Mexico City (co-authored with Miguel Reyes and Humberto Ríos), The Social Question and the Evaluation of Social Policy in Mexico City 2018 (co-authored with Oscar Martínez and José Ramón Amieva), Economic Inequality, Poverty and Social Mobility (in coordination with Ignacio Perrotini Hernández), Analysis of Economic Growth in 2007 (co-authored with Mario M. Carrillo and Miguel Reyes Hernández), Development policy in favor of the Education: The case of the Prepa Sí Program of Mexico City in 2009 (co-authored with Mario M. Carrillo and Marcelo Ebrard), Global Evaluation of the Social Policy of Mexico City (2016), Economic Inequality, Poverty and Social Mobility (coordinated with Ignacio Perrotini Hernández), among other research books; as well as he has published various research articles in National and International Magazines. He is currently Director General of CFE Capital and Member of the National System of Researchers of CONACYT level 1.

El Mtro. Ernesto Lichtle Menéndez es licenciado en Economía y Finanzas por la Universidad Iberoamericana de Puebla, cuenta con estudios de maestría en Bolsa y Mercados Financieros y en Gestión de Carteras por el Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles de Madrid España, también cuenta con estudios en Finanzas Internacionales por la London School of Economics.
Cuenta con más de 10 años de experiencia en el Sector Financiero y Bursátil. En la empresa CFEnergía se desempeñó en diferentes cargos como Subdirector de Instituciones Financieras y Derivados, Director de Finanzas y Administración, y Director de Comercialización.
